FIFA 2026 is Coming to Netflix; RDR was Just the Start—What’s Next?

How Netflix is Changing Mobile Gaming in 2026; The Big Move

From PC to Pocket: Red Dead Redemption Arrives on Netflix-

Netflix is making a massive move into mobile gaming. Just this month (December 2024), they officially released the mobile version of Red Dead Redemption (RDR). Originally developed by Rockstar Games, this iconic title is one of the most popular PC and console games of all time, and it is now available to play via the official Netflix Games app.

But the big news doesn't stop there. Netflix has started a new project for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup. Developed by Delphi Interactive, this new football simulation game is set to launch on mobile devices just before the tournament begins in the summer of 2026.

This development comes after EA Sports ended its long-term partnership with FIFA due to licensing disagreements. Through this new collaboration with Netflix, FIFA is re-entering the mobile gaming market with a fresh perspective. Best of all, this "reimagined" FIFA experience will be available at no additional cost for all Netflix members.

I think netflix is becoming a real competitor for gaming indusrty , adding a massive game like FIFA and RDR will definitely bring in millions of new players
