Audi Unveils Q6 e-tron Offroad Concept: The Future of Electric SUVs

  Audi has introduced its Q6 e-tron off-road concept, a prototype showcasing advanced electric off-road capabilities during the Kitzbühel World Cup in Austria.

With two electric motors generating a combined 380 kW, the vehicle features newly developed portal axles that allow it to handle gradients of up to 100 percent (45 degrees). Audi CEO Gernot Döllner described it as a "highly emotive reinterpretation of quattro," highlighting its role in advancing electric mobility on and off the road.

Power Meets Performance

The Q6 e-tron off-road concept is equipped with two electric motors that generate a total output of 380 kW. Its innovative portal axles enhance its capability to tackle steep inclines, allowing it to conquer gradients of up to 45 degrees. This design offers a substantial increase in torque at the wheels, with a remarkable total torque of 9,883 lb-ft. Specifically engineered for demanding terrains, the vehicle's top speed is limited to 108 mph, prioritizing its off-road performance over high-speed capabilities.
